I grew up playing with paper dolls. I used to love their outfits. I don't think I ever grew out of it!

Eventually the time came where I just had to make one myself. But instead of drawing the clothes, I gave myself the challenge of creating each piece from paper, by hand. I put magnets in her back and on the clothes so tabs weren't needed (like the old days!).

The doll's body, haircut, and clothes were inspired by 1960s fashion designer Mary Quant.
